Privacy Policy

Effective July 29, 2026

Short version: Ingest Speech does not collect, transmit, sell, or share your personal data. There are no accounts, no servers, no analytics, no advertising, and no tracking. Your voice is transcribed on your device, your notes are stored on your device, and the only data that leaves the app is a reminder you explicitly choose to create in your own Apple Reminders.

Who we are

Ingest Speech (the “App”) is provided by Garnet Narain Lyndon (“we,” “us,” or “our”). You can reach us at support@ingestair.space.

Data we collect

We do not collect any personal data. The App has no user accounts and sends no data to us or to any third party. We have no servers that receive your information, and we do not use analytics, advertising, or tracking technologies of any kind.

Information the App accesses on your device

To do its job, the App uses the following, entirely on your device:

• Microphone. When you start a recording, the App captures audio so it can be transcribed. Audio is processed live and is not saved as an audio file, and it is not transmitted off your device by the App.
• Speech recognition. The App is configured to use Apple's on-device speech recognition, so your speech is converted to text on your iPhone. The audio is not sent to Apple's servers or to us for this purpose.
• On-device intelligence. Extracting action items from your transcript is performed on-device using Apple's on-device intelligence (with a simple on-device fallback on devices that don't support it). Your text is not transmitted for this.
• Reminders. If you grant Reminders access and tap “Ingest,” the App creates reminders in your own Apple Reminders using Apple's system frameworks. That information lives in your Apple Reminders. If you have iCloud Reminders enabled, Apple may sync it across your own devices under your Apple Account, governed by Apple's Privacy Policy. We never receive it.

Where your notes are stored

Transcripts and extracted tasks you create are stored locally on your device using Apple's on-device database (SwiftData). They remain on your device and are not uploaded to us.

Data retention and deletion

Because your data stays on your device, you are in control of it:

• Delete an individual voice ingest from within the App by swiping it away in the list.
• Delete the App from your iPhone to remove all of its locally stored data.
• Reminders you created live in Apple Reminders; manage or delete them in the Reminders app.

Managing permissions

You can review or revoke Microphone, Speech Recognition, and Reminders access at any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security, or in Settings → Ingest Speech. Revoking a permission may disable the related feature.

Sharing and selling

We do not share, sell, rent, or disclose your information to anyone, because we do not collect or receive it in the first place.

Children's privacy

The App is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone. Since the App collects no personal data, no information about children is gathered.

Your rights (GDPR, CCPA, and similar)

Privacy laws such as the GDPR and CCPA give you rights to access, correct, or delete personal data a company holds about you. Ingest Speech holds no personal data about you on our side, so there is nothing for us to access, export, or delete. Any data created by the App is on your own device and under your control. Changes to this policy

If we make changes to this policy, we will update the “Effective” date above and post the revised version at this URL. Material changes will be reflected here before they take effect.
